Maud Fasel

I'm Maud Fasel — a multilingual voiceover artist based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Growing up between Lausanne, Zurich and Canberra gave me something no language class can teach: the instinct to switch not just between words, but between voices. English, French and Swiss German are native to me; Italian rounds out the picture at B2 level. Four languages, four distinct registers, all available to your project.

I've been lending my voice professionally since 2004 — to radio and TV commercials, tourist guides, audiobooks, corporate telephony, and digital content of every kind. In 2017 I formalised that experience with a professional certification from the London City Academy. The training sharpened what years of broadcast work had already built: the ability to read a brief quickly, inhabit a brand persona, and deliver a take that sounds effortless precisely because it isn't.

My background in arts and cultural management — a Master's from King's College London, years coordinating brand partnerships at the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Fondation Beyeler in Basel — has shaped the way I approach every script. I understand what a client is trying to communicate, not just what they've written. That instinct for brand, audience and tone is baked into every performance.

I record from my home studio in Lausanne and work regularly with Hana Road Studios in Montreux. Whether the session is in-person or remote, the result is the same: a clean, broadcast-quality recording, on brief and on time.
